- Principal For A Day
Thank you to the Zimmermann young ladies for the wonderful job they did leading our school for the day. If the students donated $1 or more they could wear blue jeans and a t-shirt. The Humane Society received supplies and $221 because of all the donations collected. Thanks to everyone for your generosity.

- CCS Kids Who Give
Cornerstone Christian School's third graders in Mrs. Bansale's and Mrs. Abraham's class are taking on a 6 month long service project called Kids Who Give. They need your help. Each month from December through May, they will be featuring and collecting items for a different local charity. From now until May 31, the third grade classes will be collecting hygiene products for LACASA. They especially need toilet paper. Thank you for your donations.

- Yearbooks On Sale
Have you ordered your yearbook yet? Please make checks payable to CCS or pay by cash. Yearbooks are $24. The yearbook committee is designing a memorable book that you will cherish for years to come.

- Childcare
One question that was raised at the January Parent Board Meeting was regarding before/after school care. We would like to hear from parents with this need so that the board can once again review the issue. We had very little feedback when previously asked. If you have need of before/after school care for your child(ren), please email Dr. hunt or Sandra Nettleingham with details of your specific needs. Providing a before/after school care program is complicated, given the busy use of the building for church ministries. However, the board is committed to reviewing the idea closely.
|
- Field Day
The middle school students will have their field day offsite on Friday, May 24. Field Day for grades 1-5 will be held Friday, May 31. This is a special day for our students. Mrs. Kurncz will need lots of help to make this day a success. If you are able to help the day of the event, or help with preparations, please contact Mrs. Kruncz at her email.

- T.R.I.P.
Would you like free money? That's what you get when you participate in CCS' T.R.I.P.(Tuition Reduction Incentive Program)! This how it works:
You determine where you will probably shop during the next month (groceries, gas, retailers, restaurants, online, etc...)
You order cards for those places through T.R.I.P.
You shop at those locations, using the cards.
A percentage of the dollar amount of your cards (.5%-24%) is deposited into you account.
In June you receive a check!
Pick up a TRIP registration form in the office. Email or call Julie Carleton for more information. You may submit your order on-line and then bring your check to cover the cost of the cards you purchased into the office. The next date to submit a TRIP order is Monday, May 6.
