And so it began...
In 1999, several members of the Cornerstone Evangelical Presbyterian Church formed the GIG Band to share their gift of instrumental music with the congregation during Sunday morning worship. The group plays a unique blend of Gospel-Jazz songs based on hymns and old standards to lift up and shout praise to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. The group selected the name "GIG Band" to underscore the truth that God Is Good and in the many years of playing their music for the Lord this truth has been borne out again and again in the personal trials of each band member.
