Small Groups are a Big Deal!

We want to help you get connected to a Small Group.  Three times a year we will be forming new groups that you can join.  Our next sign up period will start in January for groups that begin meeting in February.  We offer a variety groups that meet throughout the week that can fit your schedule, interests and needs.  If you have an interest in being a part of a group and do not want to wait until January please contact Matt Grimm at the church (810) 494-4062 or by email:mgrimm@cstoneepc.com.

Vision:   To see every worshipper regularly connected in a healthy Small Group

Mission:  To provide every worshipper the opportunity and encouragement to engage in a Small Group characterized by prayer, fellowship, discipleship, service and evangelism.

Why are Small Groups important to us at Cornerstone?

We believe that being connected to one another as we are connected to God in Christ is part of God’s design for His people (Ephesians 4; 1 Corinthians 12; 1 John 1:1-4).  Here are some of the stories of our people at Cornerstone who have been impacted by being connected in a Small Group.

What are Small Groups at Cornerstone like?
What are Affinity Groups?

Affinity Groups are formed around a common interest (such as volleyball, basketball, gardening, book reviews, etc.), which would be the foundation of the meetings.  The group commits to spending time in prayer and Bible study/discussion as part of their fellowship.  If you have an idea for a group please contact Matt Grimm at the church (810) 494-4062 or by email: mgrimm@cstoneepc.com for more information.

Can I become a host of a Small Group?

Yes.  We ask that all hosts attend our Small Group training meeting during our month of resting and reforming of groups.  Our next training opportunity will be in January.  Please contact Matt Grimm at the church (810) 494-4062 or by email: mgrimm@cstoneepc.com for more information.
