SpringHill Day Camp

Date: August 5-9, 9:00am-4:00pm
About:
Your completed K—5th grade kids will love SpringHill Day Camp! From the climbing wall to the water slides, to the silly songs and amazing counselors, your family won’t want to miss this. SpringHill hires the best staff to teach your kids about God, they get to make new friends, and try new and exciting activities in your community!
Registration:  $219 (July 1—August 5) Early and late care is provided for additional cost.
Sponsor: Last year, we were able to sponsor 52 children to come to camp! Would you consider partnering with SpringHill Camps to bring the Gospel to kids in Livingston County in a super fun, high energy, kid-friendly way by donating to the scholarship fund? The cost for a week is $189 per child. Any amount would be greatly appreciated, and will be used entirely for scholarships.
Volunteer: We are in need of volunteers to make this event happen! We are looking for:
- 8 host homes to house counselors for the week, August 5-9. Please provide breakfast each day and dinner on Monday and Wednesday.
- CITs (Counselors in Training); teens 13 and older (or entering 9th grade) who have a desire to engage with kids through activities and Bible lessons.
-Kitchen help from 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. in preparing and serving lunch to the counselors.

Why do we do what we do

Our Mission:

“To nurture and equip children to know the heart of God, in order that they might have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and serve Him.”

"How can a young person stay pure? By obeying your WORD and following its rules. I have hidden your WORD in my heart, that I might not sin against you... Your WORD is a lamp for my feet and a light for my path...
Psalm 119: 9, 11, 105

We Believe:
  • EVERY child is a gift from God.
  • God’s Word should be taught and applied in a manner that is relevant to the child.
  • Our role is to support and encourage families in raising their children to “love the Lord our God” with their entire being.
  • Our activities and classes should be fun, creative and carried out with excellence.
  • Equipping and empowering our staff is necessary to teach children.
  • Parental partnership is essential to the success of the ministry.

 FAQ

Cornerstone's Children's Ministry program is designed for infants through Grade 4 and runs concurrently with the 8:30, 10:00, and 11:30 am services Sunday mornings.  We also offer Wednesday night programming (mid-September through the end of April) for all ages.

I'm just visiting, can my children stay together?  Absolutely.  We ask that an older child stay in the room with the younger child.  Parents are also welcome to visit their child's class.

What safety procedures are in place?  We are committed to teaching your children the Good News of Jesus Christ in a safe, secure environment.

How are children promoted?  Ages 2 through Grade 4 are REGISTERED and PROMOTED once a year, in mid-September.  The age or grade of your child on September 1st determines the class he/she will be attending.  A completed registration form enrolls your child on the class list.  Children in our Nursery are promoted on a developmental basis.
