Community Connect is a free one-day community event to help the homeless—and others at risk of becoming homeless—easily connect to helpful information and services.All these services in one place:Attorneys, blankets, benefits, books, children, clothing, counseling, food, government & faith-based agencies, haircuts, health screening, housing, personal care, legal consultation, medical insurance, resume writing, seniors, utility, veterans, vision screening.
- Job opportunities: Several local employers looking to hire new team members.
- Big Red Barrel: Properly dispose of unwanted medications. This program is free and available to the entire community.
- Michigan Child ID Program: Brighton Masonic Lodge provides this highly acclaimed ID program that captures the child's vital information on a memory stick for parents.
- Mobile Mammography Screening Center: Ascension St. John Providence screening mammograms for early detection of breast cancer.
Now - January 26
This year at Cornerstone we will be collecting new packages of socks –men’s, women’s and children’s. Look for the collection bins in the Celebration Center and around the church.
